Dear Grade School Community,It has been a true honor and pleasure to lead and serve the Grade School community as Principal for the past three years. As I prepare to embark on a new adventure as Head of School, I wanted to send a note of gratitude and appreciation for your continued support and partnership during my tenure at Sion.
Sion is an incredible school, made all the more special by the remarkable people that define its essence. Each community member truly has a “heart larger than the world” and a deep commitment to the inspiring mission which nurtures a profound sense of pride amongst all constituents. I remain deeply grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the learning journey of students who are extraordinary, kind, loving, and devoted to both scholarship and service. Likewise, I am thankful for having had the opportunity to work with, and learn from, a team of administrators, faculty, and staff who are passionate about education and student success. I am very proud of what we have accomplished together at both the academic and auxiliary programs levels in the past three years, and excited for what the next chapters of Sion’s story will bring. Even though I will dearly miss everyone, the Sion mission and values will forever have a special place in my heart and accompany me throughout my life journey. I know that I will always cherish the wonderful memories and moments that have blessed me while serving in this role. Wholehearted thanks for this wonderful opportunity, and for the gift of sharing in the joy and inspiration that your students bring every day. Wishing you a lovely summer break and the very best in all future endeavors! Fondly, Paola V. Clark, Ed.D. Principal

Congratulations to the Class of 2019Dear Class of 2019,
I refer to graduation as "commencement" as it actually represents the beginning of a new chapter in the lives of graduates as they embark on new adventures and opportunities. Last night, you turned the page of your grade school chapter, and are ready to begin brand new ones in high school and beyond. We are so very proud of all your accomplishments! Remember that you are all shining stars and that you can accomplish all your hopes, dreams, and anything that you set your mind to with hard work, dedication, and determination. High school will bring many new opportunities and challenges for self-discovery, growth, and successes. Don't be afraid to fail, to ask for help, to ask questions, to be safe risk-takers, and to believe in yourselves, because we all (your parents, family, Sion faculty and staff, and friends) believe in you. And, always be kind and compassionate as you remain rooted in Sion. You were my first middle school class when I first started at Sion, and it has been a pleasure and honor to watch you go through your middle school years, as we both move on to the next phases of our academic and personal journeys. You will be dearly missed! Sion will forever be your home, so please come visit soon and often. I wish you happiness, joy, love, health, success, and all the absolute best on all your future endeavors. I can't wait to learn about all your success! Each one of you is absolutely amazing just the way you are! Continue being knowledge seekers, your brother's keepers, and making a positive difference in the world. Love, Dr. Clark |
